2. Our Privacy Principle

TimeInvoicer is designed to keep your professional data as close to you as possible. The Android app is local-first: appointments, contacts, invoice data, service definitions and generated documents are generally processed on your device, not on our servers.

We do not operate user accounts for the app and we do not run a cloud database that stores your client or invoice data for you.

3. Website Data

When you visit this website, the hosting provider may automatically process technical access data such as IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type, operating system, referrer URL and transfer status. This is necessary to deliver the website securely and reliably.

Legal basis: legitimate interests in secure and stable website operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

4. Contact by Email

If you contact us by email, we process the information you send so that we can respond to your request. Please do not send sensitive client data unless it is truly necessary for your support question.

Legal basis: pre-contractual or contractual communication (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and legitimate interests in support communication (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

5. Fonts and External Resources

This website may load fonts or other technical resources from external providers, for example Google Fonts. When such resources are loaded, the provider may receive technical data such as your IP address and browser information.

We keep external resources limited and use them only to provide a clear, readable and consistent website design.

6. App Permissions

Depending on how you use TimeInvoicer, the app may request Android permissions, for example calendar access, contacts access or file access. These permissions are used to provide the app functions you choose.

You can revoke permissions in your Android settings. Some app features may then no longer work fully.

7. Data Stored in the App

The app may store data you enter or choose to process, such as contact names, appointments, invoice numbers, service descriptions, amounts, payment information, templates, settings and exported documents.

For healthcare-related use cases, billing codes and document information may be stored for administrative documentation. TimeInvoicer does not make medical decisions and does not provide treatment recommendations.

8. Local Processing and No Server Account

App data is generally stored locally on your Android device or in locations you choose, such as document folders, email apps or cloud storage selected by you. We do not have access to data that remains only on your device.

This also means that we cannot recover, inspect or delete data that we never received. You remain responsible for your own exports, archives and backups.

9. Deleting Your Data

You can delete individual entries inside the app where available. To delete app data completely, uninstall TimeInvoicer or delete the app data in Android settings.

Files exported outside the app, emails you sent, cloud copies, downloads or documents saved in external folders must be deleted separately in the respective app or storage location.

10. Retention

Website logs are retained by the hosting provider only as long as necessary for technical operation, security and troubleshooting. App data remains on your device or in your chosen storage location until you delete it.

Legal or professional retention duties for invoices and business records may apply to you. TimeInvoicer does not archive these records for you.

11. Recipients and Third Parties

We may use service providers for website hosting and technical delivery. When you open links such as Google Play, use your email app, save documents to a cloud provider or share files, the respective third-party provider processes data under its own responsibility.

12. Your Rights

Subject to the legal requirements, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, objection and withdrawal of consent. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.

Because the app is local-first and we do not have app user accounts, we may not possess the data you are asking about. In that case, we will explain this and help you find the relevant local deletion or export step.

13. Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect systems under our control. On your device, security also depends on your Android version, device lock, backups, installed apps and how you store or share exported documents.

14. Changes

We may update this privacy policy when legal, technical or product changes make this useful. The current version published on this website applies.
